Software Centre– New for 2001!

The Software Centre is designed to offer curriculum teachers a quick and easy platform to source and compare some of the most exciting software available from specialist software developers. Educational ICT will come to life in the nearby interactive Multimedia in Practice feature.

Early Years Centre

Pre-school, early years and primary visitors will find a showcase of the many resources currently available as well as practical advice and support in this area.

Performing Arts feature – New for 2001!

Music, dance and imaginative play make a vital contribution to children's early experiences, and the National Curriculum recognises that children are entitled to a range of arts experiences – watch, learn and enjoy as Music for Youth (supported by NUT) demonstrate their talent.

Multimedia in Practice

TEEM – Teachers Evaluating Educational Multimedia - will be helping teachers get the most from educational CD-ROMs and websites at the Education Show. With 200 teacher-evaluators, 65 supporting software publishers and over 250 titles in its index, TEEM is well placed to give all teachers confidence to use software effectively in the classroom. On hand will be teacher-evaluators, a large software library of TEEM-evaluated titles for browsing, access to the TEEM web site at www.teem.org.uk and members of TEEM to give presentations.

TEEM teacher-evaluators are ideally placed to pass on their experience and expertise to fellow-professionals and can communicate powerful messages about getting the best out of multimedia in the classroom.

“As an independent company supported by the DfEE, TEEM is able to offer objective and reliable advise to teachers about how to get the best from their software.
