ICT remains a key area of focus for the Government and educational bodies. In 2002, BETT will continue to reflect the demands of this rapidly changing market by introducing many new and exciting features.

The development of last year's Show into the National Hall continues. This area will enable suppliers of Further and Higher Education, Distance Learning and the Skills Agenda products to exhibit alongside some exciting features. These include: 'Future Skills', a national finals of a design, build and drive model car competition; the 'Policy Arena', where the DfEE, BECTa, TTA and QCA will unite to provide visitors with guidance and advice on the roles of national agencies and Government departments.

The Special Needs Village at BETT, already established as the most comprehensive special needs ICT arena worldwide, will be expanded. In addition, there will be an extra visitor entrance, more catering areas and improved visitor facilities.

REGULAR FEATURES: Comprehensive Seminar Programme, Multimedia Evaluation Centre, Software Centre, Library Resource Centre, Publishing Zone and BETT Awards
